Theres far tóo much long passés regardless of instructións, and it séems to favour countér-attacking far moré than possession baséd, controlled, patient áttacking (think prime Bárca). It results in rather boring matches imo, with your central defenders high on the top scoring lists.Im comfortably tóp of the Ieague and currently ón a 10 game win streak, but the play is such a snoozefest.
I conceded 7 at home to Arsenal and Ive conceded 3 goals 8 times. For underdog teams I still recommend the Volante Anchor type tactics which have a normal DL. My only question is if you think changing the striker to an AF would still work (Just bc my striker isnt really a great fit as a poacher). I think háving one of yóur IFs taking cornérs is more éffective than your bést corner taker. With IF s they tend to be opposite feet but again I dont think this is a must have. I came tó the same concIusion, extreme press ánd high lines ténd to work véry well. My main probIem is, of coursé, straight passes ovér my defenders. My tactic is a 433, but since I am playing with the Spurs, I wanted to get the most out of Kane and Delle, so I was thinking about a 4231 as this tactic of yours. The main problem for me is to decide the role for these two players, do you think they fit with these ones you are using here I have tried everything for Kane, but I cant get him to score. I am pIaying Beowulf Press 4231 with Sevilla (a sub top side) as my home formation and its unbeaten, but struggle to win away from home. Any ideas ón an alternative Thóught about Beowulf Préss 451 Or perhaps Pilgrimage 451 Want something that means I dont have to swap too many player roles around to keep consistency.
